Difficulty wih copper filled area [SOLVED]

Resolved - My oversight.

Hi,
I’m having a difficult time getting a filled area to fill. here is what I’ve checked…

1). The filled area has at least one pad and that pad is assigned to a valid Net.
2). The filled area is assigned to the same Net as the pad it contains.
3). They are both on the same layer and same side
4). The outline contains no overlapping edges

Here is a picture of the problem. What causes this behavior?
Thanks!

I do not really se a problem, and see only expected behavior of KiCad. But maybe you are referring to the thermal reliefs.
These are deliberate cutouts in copper zones to make soldering easier, and they are part of the properties of a copper zone:

If you were referring to something else, then please elaborate.

Also:
zones are normally covered by solder mask. An alternative method for you may be to load the footrpint into the Footprint Editor from within Pcbnew with [Ctrl +e] and then edit the pad itself.

Yes, I see what I did wrong there. Thanks
