Difficulty Setting Trace Isolation Due to Close Pad Proximity in KiCad

i’ve already set the design rules for pad clearance, allowing me to route traces inside the footprint. However, when it comes to routing the traces out of the footprint with a specific net class clearance, I run into difficulty. The tight pad spacing makes it challenging to meet the clearance requirements, and I’m unable to route the traces outside the footprint

Has anyone encountered a similar issue or have suggestions on how to manage trace routing while maintaining clearance when exiting the footprint? Any advice on handling this scenario in KiCad would be very helpful!

Thanks in advance for your assistance!

Updating to V8.0.9 won’t change any features, but might fix some routing bugs

I’ve downloaded version 8.0.9—should I uninstall 8.0.4 before installing it?

What is your copper to copper clearance ?

Installing V8.0.9 overwrites any other V8.
As always backup your project first

You can place vias inside or immediately outside the pad (dogbone style). Route the trace on an inner signal layer where clearance is easier to manage. This lets you bypass tight top-layer constraints and gives more room to escape routing.

The pads are through hole, the OP would have to remove the pads on the inner layers for this to be a help.
