unable to get some symbols and footprints like in this case J1 and J2 are clearly the sma connectors for rf_in and rf_out but what about j3,j4,j5,j6,j7?
Wouldn’t 6 and 7 be the same type of connector as 1 and 2? As for 3-5, could be some kind of banana plug socket, but really you need to ask the manufacturer instead of us. So not really a KiCad question.
ok can you tell me how to trace it like the big three circles?
It’s not three big circles. It’s one big pad placed three times.
It’s the simplest possible footprint - Just place a pad and adjust its’ hole size and pad size to satisfy your requirements, and give it a circular silk screen.
ok i got that i was thinking that but how should i assign the footprint for the symbol because in the footrpints assignment there is no option for assigning footprints for power symbols.
also can you guys guide me how to reverse engineer the layout from the sample board given i am having a bit of difficulty in matching the size and also layer wise tracing.
You don’t assign a footprint to a power symbol!
You attach a connector symbol to your power symbol, and assign a footprint to that.
(Think about it - how many power symbols are there on a typical schematic? They don’t all get footprints on the PCB).
