Differential pair skew, 90 degrees instead of round

I am trying to tune a differential pair for the first time, I have see on other boards that were routed with KiCAD the meanders are smooth arcs. With mine they have half smooth and half 90 degrees. I tried various combos of spacing and amplitude, and only if the amplitude is excessively huge does it become all arcs.
The green circles below highlight the 90 degree bends:

Ok the problem is the minimum radius.
