Differential pair routing - cannot change parameters

I am trying to route a differential pair, have defined the differential pair parameters properly, have assigned the pre-defined diff pair to my net class, but KiCad simply uses different settings, what ever I do. I have checked constraints - that should not be the issue.

Here are some screen shots. Please note the contradiction of the pre-defined track width and the one displayed in the lower line of the second image:

I see “DP Width” in board setup == “Track Width” in editor == 0.27 mm, no problems.

I thought differential pairs would simply use the predefined track width and clearance. I understand now.
