Different Nigthly verison Ubuntu 22.04 and 24.04

I had create a KiCad Eeschma file n a Ubuntu 24.04 using the apt install kicad-nigthly version. The file is tagged inside as (version 20250901).

When I try to open in the kicad-nigthly on a Ubuntu 22.04, I am getting the

I already try to upgrade the Kicad, that is versioned as:

Are we having some issues on compilation distributions? In particular with Ubuntu 22.04, since the compilation is dated as 04-Sep-2025.

Compiling KiCad on older LTS versions gets into many dependency problems.

If you are experimenting with bleeding edge Nightlies, why stick to 22.04?

The Ubuntu 22.04 is my working computer. I can not upgrade the OS.

Am I checking the wrong release page? In this, appear the 22.04 had a release:

Launchpad is basically abandoned by Canonical even though it’s the only way to deploy packages. What you are seeing is the broken UI (thats been like this for more than a decade)

What you have to do on that page is click this link on the side:

And then it’ll show you the real package status

And find the right package and expand it to see builds failing
