This appears to be a similar issue as someone else experienced. However it still persists to be an issue without mitigation.
What I was seeing was, a dialog open at it’s normal location for a split second then… it would disappear (very annoying with modals) and I would have to use Win+Shift+Arrow keys to get it back on my display, sometimes it ends up on an inactive display also when that isn’t plugged in and it’s difficult to get it back at all then. By “normal” location I just mean actually visible on screen when the window is created… then it moves offscreen… I don’t have additional window management enabled. I did have powertoys enabled however it currently is turned off (it allows more than two tiled windows per screen etc…).
If I get the window on the display and then resize it to reasonable dimensions… then it starts working as expected. I’m not exactly sure what the issue is but I also tend to use a top docked taskbar.
