Delete net in KiCAD 6

Has the delete net, or connected traces been removed in KiCAD 6? Backspace/delete perform the same action for me (one single track length). How does one unroute/delete a length of connected traces? I have hunted through the menus and can’t find where it went.
Thanks!

To avoid confusion, please don’t use “6” when it hasn’t been released yet. The current development version is 5.99.

It’s possible it has been removed. I vaguely remember some discussions about it. At least you can select a connection with U and then delete it.

“U” works really well thank you. Sorry, will refer to it as 5.99, I thought it maybe help future googlers if I refer to it as “6”.

How do you know about the “U” command? I couldnt figure out a solution going through the menus and context menus (although I see now its listed there under select… did not occur to me to check there). If my memory serves me correctly, one used to be able to press “?” and it would list hotkeys, but “?” does not seem to do that anymore.

Help -> List Hotkeys (Ctrl+F1). Shortcuts have been made more consistent internally and with other software in general.

I have used KiCad and followed the development so much that I don’t remember anymore. I tend to go through the menu structures of software I’m learning, try context menus, read tooltips etc. For KiCad I have also read various discussions over years and with varying intensity followed development plans, code commits and issue reports since version pre-5.
