cvPcb only selecting one library

Hi

Since my last upgrade I noticed that when I try to associate components with footprints, cvPCB won’t highlight any of the existing libraries except for the first one it picks.

E.g if a capacitor is somehow highlighting the leaded capacitor footprints library, any attempt to click on the SMD capacitors library fails to select the library for me to associate a footprint from that library with the capacitor. The leaded capacitors library remains in focus.

Can anyone help with this?

I am runnning kicad: 4.0.2-4+6225~38~ubuntu15.10.1-stable on ubuntu 15.10.

What KiCAD version did you have before the upgrade?

I guess you don’t see any error messages when you start cvpcb…

Can you post a screenshot of the properties for the footprint filter of that capacitor symbol of yours in the symbol editor?
Something like this:

Also, what button’s in the top row of cvpcb are active?

@Joan_Sparky

Thanks for the reply. It seems this is due to the active buttons on the top row of cvpcb as you suggested in the second image. I hadn’t had to change those in a while. The update must have reset them to default modes. I totally forgot about them.

Thanks again
