Custom Theme not working in PCB Kicad 6

I tried to create a custom theme, then try to edit colors in the appearance manager and get a warning about “theme is write-only”. Anything else I need to do?

The project I am working on was created in v5.99 (I think) with another custom theme.

Anything I should check?

Application: KiCad PCB Editor

Version: (6.0.4-0), release build

Preferences / Preferences in PCB editor should bring up a selection in both Schema. & PCB for colours.

Click on Colors and then select “New Theme”. This should get you there.

I thought I had done that. Maybe I missed OK button in the lower right. Thanks, I got it working.
