Creating a new Footprint does not create type popup in V9

Hi,

I am creating some custom footprints in V9 and it’s getting quite annoying as the popup to select the type of footprint is no longer there. Example from V8:

This is causing me to constantly have to rename and change the footprint type when I am switching from SMD to THT. Is there a setting I am missing, feature removed or a bug?

Removed on purpose:

The type should remember the last type you worked on

Thanks makes sense.

I’m going through a list of components to create and there is a mix of SMD and THT. Guess will just do all the SMD and swap or vice versa.
