I have a question regarding coupled microstrip transmission lines.
For a given substrate thickness, the conductor loss is the dominant attenuation loss, compared to dielectric loss, yet when the dielectric substrate thickness is increased, the attenuation loss goes down dramatically. What is the reason/physics behind it?
