I think this schematic is self-explaining, I want to make sure that after the power connection any devices get VDC after the fuse has passed. Is my way using a global label this way correct?
Add a power flag.
(Why, oh why does a post have to be 20 characters, when 15 will do?)
What do you mean by power flag?
I’m not using them, but:
For me not, as you have to read all long texts at whole schematic to find what is connected to your fuses.
Why not just put these fuses near J4, connect them to J4 using wires (without need for naming that net) then end each fuse with power symbol VDC1 and VDC2. Power symbols used then at the rest of schematic are easier to understand that it is connection to power then reading the labels for it. Imagine you have 100…300 symbols at schematic.
A ERC check should tell you if anything is not connected.
For such a simple schematic is a lot easier to just not use all the labels. That way you can visually see within seconds if things are not connected properly.
Maybe simply draw the wires so the connection will be immediately obvious.
