Copy tracks

I am trying to duplicate tracks which is connected to a pad. If I did copy/paste the track to another pad, the net remained unchanged on the copied track.

If I did ‘paste special’ and selected ‘clear net assignments’, the net of the track became .

But when I assigned the net to ‘D12’ for example, to the new track and click ‘Change Nets’, all tracks that I have copied and the pads that these tracks are connected became D12.

I am using 9.0.0 currently. I remember in 7.0.x net of the copied tracks can be adjusted properly!! Is there any configurations/settings I need to enable ?

After some experiments, I have discovered that traces on Front layer works as expected, i.e., adjusting net properly when copying tracks from one pad to another. Net remains unchanged when copying tracks on other layers, i.e., inner and Bottom,

I have found the reason. My mistake. I add zones on inner layers as well as bottom layer. No on the top layer. That is the reason why I am able to cut and paste tracks on top layer without any probmes.

Sorry to bother.
