In the footprint editor or PCBnew?
In the FP editor:
Just select them all together by ‘drawing’ a rectangle over them - then move them - and then RIGHT-click, to be able to select a copy.
Also, if you right click a single pad in the FP editor you can chose to have an Array made… might be easier
Ok, thanks for the clue, I’ve found out the way, but I need to edit pad name one by one manually, all good.
Are you creating the FP for the BGA you mention in your other threads?
that’s right, and after this I need to fan out them.
Probably manually, it will not be fast.
Ok, so why aren’t you using the array function for the pads for that footprint?
It’s got the BGA row/column naming function with numbers & letters…
No need to rename things?!
That’s a good idea, I will use it for the next chip, which menu has that
function?
Where is that menu located ?
what’s the tree ?
…->…->…-> ??
I got it,
but how to make
22 x 22 Bga pads with 0.65mm spacing and 0.15mm pad diameter and it’s
starting with A1, without IOWZ ?
Thanks

… you can always create sub-sections if a letter is wrong or something. No need to change a lot of them manually if the array tool can do it for you
