Contribution to KiCAD

Hi there,

A few weeks ago I have started with KiCAD and I am very pleased with it.
It turned out that I have to create new sympols and footprints, which works real well. Now I am planning to create some supporting Programs that help to manage my projects and orders.
Is there some documentation on the .pro, .lib. etc, files which are used by KiCAD? I noticed that they are easy to read but documentation about the format would make things easier.

I also found http://www.compuphase.com/electronics/LibraryFileFormats.pdf very useful.

Do you know who mainteans that pdf?
The font field in fp_text is missing the ‘italic’ descriptor…

I don’t know, apart from CompuPhase is a company based in the Netherlands… They have some other Kicad stuff, http://www.compuphase.com/electronics/kicadlibrarian_en.htm
