6.0.8 has a lot of nasty bugs that lead to crash, especially the Ctrl+X one. This is VERY annoying, and I encounter these bugs multiple times. When I promote KiCad to others last week, they say that this software is too buggy (although I know it’s this particular version that comes with bugs). think 6.0.9 release should be considered to fix these bugs.

There have been a lot of commits in just 4 weeks. I suspect that trying to stabilise 6.99 has revealed a lot of bugs to be cherry picked

I’m not sure the people responsible read this site.
The mailing list link above shows that the developers are preparing for 6.0.9 very soon
If you come across new bugs the only way to get them fixed is to report them.
6.0.9 should be available within the next few days. There have been lots of bug fixes.
Oh and I hope the Developers will focus on cherrypicking fixes not bugs

That’s actually not a bug, it is a feature. Feature called Altium mode
