How can I do this? Route track over a component. ( look at the marker in the photo)
cThere’s nothing special in it, just two pads and you have to route between them. It doesn’t matter if they belong to the same footprint (component). Track width and clearances of the items decide if it can go through.
Technically, that’s below a component and not over the component
I frequently route two tracks between pads of a 0603 part.
So i can do this by decreasing width of the track
Thanks…now i know what to do.
The possibility of routing a track depends on the inter-pad clearance (free space between pads), DRC clearances (distances between different nets = signals), and track witdh. It’s a simple math: INTER_PAD_CLEARANCE - n * TRACK_WIDTH - (n+1)*TRACK_CLEARANCE > 0
n - tracks number; assume single clearance for all nets for simplification
