Two functions of another PCB design tool are:
- Output jobs that I use to define in a repeatable manner how the outputs of the design should be generated. This allows me to generate all documentation and production files with one click and takes makes sure that I don’t miss anything.
- Being able to select multiple objects in either the PCB or schematic design and modify common properties.
I know about the grid editor of the schematic editor where I can change component properties and I think it’s helpful and that it is a nice step towards this concept.
Can you comment on if/how you see these features in the future of KiCad?
