Click on component in Sch, wrong cursor position in PCB

When I click on selected component in the sch, layout incorrectly zooms a footprint (somewhere else away from real component), zooms out the board as well. Anyway, the real component is highlighted correctly.

Version 8.0.1-8.0.1-ubuntu20.04.1, release build

Highlighting a symbol on Schematic then switching to PCB zooms the PCB board so the footprint associated with the highlighted symbol is approximately in the middle of the screen.

This is normal behavior.

It was working like this, see in ver8, where is the cursor on selected component (above and slight left of the board, … and for other components somewhere else … looks like scaling is wrong)

Sorry, no idea. I don’t use a split screen.

This works perfectly for toggling screens.
