I’m unclear on how the negotiation is handled for clearances in layout, specifically between a pour area and another signal (in this case, the other signal is the pad of a component not connected to the pour).
The design minimum is 5mil. I set the “electrical clearance” property of the pour to 20mil because i want to override the default rule for this pour. However, it applies the default rule regardless of what i set the property to be (verified by inspecting the clearance resolution).
The pour’s clearance property doesn’t seem to appear anywhere in the resolution - how is it considered? How can you configure a pour to have a clearance greater than the default?
