Does KiCad offer a way to draw circular rules areas?
This would be way more handy than a polygon to create a keepout area for a screw mounting point.
Create a circle, right click it and Create from Selection > Create Rule Area from Selection
yes ? try it and see if it does what you need.
Wow - KiCad is sooooo great!
Love it!
Thanks for the answer!

Why mess around like this? Why not just set needed clearance?
My 32C60 hole footprint has hole φ=3.2mm with clearance=1.4mm (making clearance φ=6mm).
This is what I do, works like a charm. ie adjust the clearance as required.
I can not find the place where to find the clearance for this specific hole:
Or do you mean the clearance for the entire board? This would be something I don’t want, since it’s not unusual to route wires as close as 1mm within the board outline.

@Marko_Rocznik : in your case the “clearance”-solution does not work (at least not so easy). You have created the hole with a circle on edge.cuts.
If you create the hole as a pad (pad type mechanical NPTH), then you are able to define pad clearance override values. Look in the original footprint library “MountingHole:MountingHole_5.5mm” for example. (Though they don’t have clearance values set).
