Just discovered that the symbol’s value field is no longer editable.
Where can I store my KiCad version in the forum?

Hi,
You want to place/post your Kicad version into this forum?
Yes, I would like that so that everyone knows which version I am working with.
Open Kicad, go to help > about Kicad > top Right corner is “copy version info”. Left mouse click that box then open reply in the forum and right mouse click and “paste”
Yes, I know that. Can’t I put it here in the forum directly under my name?
Yes, right mouse click then select Paste. It should look like my post.

The value field of power symbols is not editable. My German is not good, but I guess that is what the cursive text just under the entry field means.
To fix it, load your symbol in the Symbol Editor, and then: File / Symbol Properties and remove the flag in the Define as Power Symbol checkbox.
Hello @paulvdh, after opening KiCad and the symbol editor, I got a message that I have a suspicious voltage symbol. After I marked the symbol as not a voltage symbol, I was able to edit it again accordingly.
But for me this is a step backwards, since I now e.g. E.g. I have to insert 5 individual conductors, or I can’t define the voltage symbol.
But I also don’t understand that the multi-pin terminal block can be easily renamed.
So I changed the symbol again. I connected all three pins and colored them white.
You can see it nicely when marking.
