Circuit Design For RF Harvester

I’m stranded Kicad freaks🥲.

Anyone interested in assisting me in constructing a basic schematic for an RF Harvester?

1.How do I set the software up?
2. What do I need to build the circuit seemlessly?

What platform are you on ? Windows, Mac, Linux ?

I’m using windows, Sir.

This is the latest V8.x.y

https://downloads.kicad.org/kicad/windows/explore/stable/download/kicad-8.0.9-x86_64.exe

Download it and install . . . then start reading the manual: Getting Started in KiCad | 8.0 | English | Documentation | KiCad

Maybe you never have heard of it. But there is a completly new platform in the internets that is called “YouTube”. www.youtube.com if you know how to click on a link.
There, you can type in your question: “KiCad setup” is enough. Then some kind people instantly will show you how to do it. You do not even have to read a lot. And you will see a lot of colorful pictures.

Maybe you first watch a video how to move the mouse …

I’m not a big fan of sarcasm in the Internet, but nickmBY’s reply is warranted. You haven’t done even the most basic things: looked at the KiCad website or done some simple searches. The website has some documentation, the Getting Started Guide gives you a beginning for a “seamless” workflow. Create a schematic first, decide which footprints are needed in the layout, update the PCB, position the footprints, create GND and maybe other zones, draw tracks. Create symbols and footprints in personal libraries if necessary. Read the Guide and refer to the official manuals when needed. If you use youtube videos or other sources, be aware that there are differences between major versions of KiCad, and at least anything talking about older than v6 is pretty much useless now. V8 is still valid for a while, but has already been superseded by v9.

As for the question number 1 – when I want to try some new application, I don’t go to internet to ask how it can be set up, I just download and install it and then start it to see what happens.

This forum is for supporting the KiCad software, not the design of the circuit
