Choose symbol: Invalid footprint specified

I hereby certify that I am not simply asking someone else to design a footprint for me.

When I want to add a symbol/IC to my schematic (pressing A), some of my footprints show up as “invalid footprint specified”, but they all work/behave as expected. They just show this message when I add/pick them there.
This is not a problem for me, but I would like to know why some of my footprints dont show up when I am selecting the symbol in the schematic.

It looks like you have specified the footprint only with the footprint name.
The footprint must be specified with “library:footprint” string.

Ah you are right, this was it.
But its weird, how did it load the footprint in the PCB editor either way since it was not correctly defined?
