Change Language KiCad MacOS

Hello
I just installed kicad for MacOS and are unable to change the language. Under Preference many languages are listed but the program doesnt change the language.
Do I have to load any additional files for the desired language ?

Have you also installed the libraries into Application Support? I believe the language files are in
/Library/Application Support/kicad/share/internat
and should be installed at the same time as you copy the symbol & footprint libraries and 3d models to the location indicated in the installer.

Thanks ! You got it, I installed only „application“ and not „application support“. Well, perhaps I am new to MacOS…
