IIRC the ‘pickup width’ function (or whatever it’s called)
picked up the width AND the layer when hovering over a pad/trace and pressing ‘X’ . Now it only picks up the width.
Does anyone known whether that is an intentional change or am I simply delirious?
just checked with Application: KiCad PCB Editor x64 on x64, Version: 7.99.0-2888-g3ee2086f95, release build, Win10, from 22.09.
starting the route-command with “X” respects the layer of the existing track/pad.
But this works only in normal display mode, not in dim/hide display mode.
or I’m simply delirious?
very dangerous question …
