Change footprint of multiple identical components

Using KiCad 5.1.4

I made a bunch of copies of a transistor and all of those ended up without footprint.
Can ofcourse press F and then paste the footprint as text and i get it to work.
But is there a better way, maybe so i just can change all of them on the whole sheet at once?
