Change background color in Eeschema doesn't work (stays black)

Hello everybody,

after reinstalling my notebook, I’m using KiCAD for the first time. Unfortunately, I’m not able to change the background color for Eeschema. It just stays black (check attached screenshor). I can change the colors for other components by the way (wires for example). I’ve no idea what I should try to solve this problem. Any ideas?

Max

Sounds like a graphic bug, as it’s set to white normally (and as per your screenshot).

You probably have to file a bugreport (if not listed already) here:

I think you’re right but wanted to check anyway before filing an incorrect bug report. Thank you very much!
