Can't generate BOM: ModuleNotFoundError: No module named 'kicad_utils'

KiCad 6 -
when I try to generate a BOM (I have tried several different scripts) I get this error:
ModuleNotFoundError: No module named ‘kicad_utils’

Any solution for this, before I try a re-install?
