Can't delete power symbols

Hi,

Can anyone help shed light on why I would not be able to remove power symbols (GND, 3.3) from my schematic anymore when I could this morning?

Also, when I drag the power symbols there is a line drawn from the symbol back to the pin I want to remove it from, have I inadvertently enabled some kind of locking?

Thanks in advance.

Application: KiCad Schematic Editor

Version: (6.0.10-0), release build

Libraries:
wxWidgets 3.1.5
libcurl/7.79.1 SecureTransport (LibreSSL/3.3.6) zlib/1.2.11 nghttp2/1.45.1

Platform: macOS Version 10.16 (Build 21G115), 64 bit, Little endian, wxMac

Build Info:
Date: Dec 18 2022 11:46:04
wxWidgets: 3.1.5 (wchar_t,wx containers)
Boost: 1.80.0
OCC: 7.6.3
Curl: 7.64.1
ngspice: 38
Compiler: Clang 12.0.0 with C++ ABI 1002

Build settings:
KICAD_USE_OCC=ON
KICAD_SPICE=ON

I am not aware that locking parts in the schematic would even be possible in KiCad. I also checked the menu’s and the properties of a symbol and I did not see it either.

Can you share a simplified version of your project with just those power symbol and something else (such as a decoupling capacitor or whatever) so others can have a look at it?

Thanks, turns out to be user error, I was trying to delete it via the “3.3v” label, not the connection.
Arguably it could work that way, but my bad.
