I have two connectors that were locked so their positions would not get moved during PCB design. I am not able to select either connector now. Using the “interactive edit tool”, the connector is highlighted with small message “item locked”.
Okay… so how do I unlock it? Edit feature does nothing. Pressing L or Alt L or shift L does nothing. How do I unlock the footprint so I can modify it?

Thank you for the reply. I am using 6.0.10 and there is not a “selection filter” that I can find.
Under EDIT drop down menu there is a “Interactive Delete Tool” that sort of does what you are showing, but only option is to delete the footprint.

On the bottom right of the screen. You have to enable/display the appearance panel. (View–>Show appearance manager).
Got it! Thank you ever so much for your patience. Goldfish memory here needed a reminder of the tool’s location.
