I used Altium for PCB design.There is a quick access to measure the distance between primitives(like the distance between pad and track).In AD, within the Reports Menu,there is “Measure distance” command to measure the distance between two points,and there is also “Measure primitives” to measure the distance between two primitives(like pad and wire,via and wire,etc).I found there is only one “Measure” command in Inspect menu,and this command is just like the “Measure distance” in AD,and can’t measure the distance between two primitives.Is there another convenient method to measure the distance between two primitives like in Alitum?Thanks for help!
You always have the space bar tool.
Hitting the spacebar at any point resets the relative distance to (0,0). Relative distance is shown on the bottom bar as dx,dy.
It can be used from any point of the grid or from the centre of a pad or track if the magnetic pads and magnetic tracks options are set.
