Can I switch off the 'footprint value' display by default?

The ‘footprint value’ in the PCBnew is meaningless for me, so I always want to hide it in the PCBnew, but after I switch off the ‘footprint value’ display by manual, when I switch to another pre-setting display, the ‘footprint value’ will appear again?

Is there anyway to switch it off by default?

you can define your own layer-preset with footprint-names switched off. I have done the same.

You can also use Edit → Text and Graphics Properties, choose Values and untick Visible. Then they all will be hidden and you can control them with Hidden Text in the Objects tab.

I know what you said, but it has a question, when I switch the pre-set to default pre-set, the value will appear agian.
