Can I export a schematic into another project?

I have a schematic for my project but have decided that I must make a fundamental change to the power supply. Rather than redraw the entire schematic, it would be nice if I could export it somehow and import it into a new project version. Then I could simply modify the power supply. Can I do this in KiCad and, if so, how?

Got it. Did a manual copy over of the file (renaming) into new project folder.
