Bus naming behaviour in 5.99

I’ve been trying out the new bus naming features in 6, and I’m curious; is the namespace inside hierarchical sheets intended to be flat while using the new syntax?

The behaviour in the most recent version (as of 2021-05-12) seems to be that should I have, for example, multiple USB buses labelled such as U2P1{D+ D- V_{bus}}, U2P2{D+ D- V_{bus}}, etc, on a sheet, the nets D+, D- and V_{bus} are all made the same net, no matter which bus they’re routed to. I would have expected nets such as U2P1.D+ to be created implicitly, as this is kind of the impression I’ve gleaned from others’ first impressions from around the internet while using this new version.

Do I have to number each one of the low-level nets before pinning them to a bus? Should I just be using the old numbered bus convention for this and forego the use of the differential routing tool?

Thanks
