BUS line continuity

I am learning about the principles of buses, and therefore, I have a question. Does one bus have to have a ‘physical’ continuation? By that, I mean, does it have to be one, continuous line in the schematic? For example, if I draw only a fragment and label it according to the same Label Properties, will it be connected to another fragment with the same name?

Thanks J

Yes. You have to label both bus-segments with the same name (label).

You can check the connectivity with the highlight hotkey (or highlight tool): highlight one segment, and all connected other segments should also be highlighted.

Thanks, just checked and it works as expected.

In V4 (and I suppose in V5 also) busses were only graphic objects and I still use them that way. I place labels only at wires entering bus. I don’t label buses.
