Bug: Disabling "PCB Always show crosshairs" breaks Footprint Chooser preview in schematic editor

Disabling “PCB Always show crosshairs” causes a bug where the preview on the right side of the Footprint Chooser does not display any content when selecting packages for symbols in the schematic editor.
This bug occurs in versions 9.0.2 to 9.0.3.

I agree. Please show your Kicad version and OS. Go to Help > About Kicad, top RH corner click on “Copy version info.” and paste into a new post.

What’s your GPU and GPU driver version?

If you have multiple GPUs, the full KiCad version info would reveal which one KiCad uses (after you’ve opened a schematic or PCB editor).

I just noticed that the thread title refers to the Schematic Editor when it should refer to the PCB Editor.

Selecting Symbols in the Symbol Editor works perfectly.
