Best way to add chamfer to trace joints?

Hi all

I’m kinda new to kicad, just getting used to this from eagle.

So I’m working on a board with lots of 3-way even 4-way joints, what’s the best way to add chamfer to the joint so that I can avoid a straight 90 degree angle?

Tried to draw a small triangle zone, but this seems not working.

Thanks in advance

Why do you think you need to avoid a straight 90 degree angle connection?

I know it don’t make much of a difference in low frequency schematic, just a habit of following design recommendations.

Nothing to do with RF impedance, the old advice against right angles was due to fear of over etching.
I think that this was more due to poor use of the black crepe tape in those days.

Kicad has no easy feature where you can make something like this automatically. However you can always add a copper zone for such a purpose. Make sure you assign the correct net to the zone.

Here’s 1k words
