New to Kicad. We have captured schematic using RC size of the finished-work.
For easy debug, would like to make test board at imperial 0805 (or 0603) size.
Instead of editing each component, is there a way to batch-switch RC size to imperial 0805 and switch back to original size at later phase?
Schematic Editor / Tools / Edit Symbol Fields and then experiment with the Group By settings.
But it does not make much sense to me to change it back later. Iād rather make a copy of the project, but this does have the disadvantage that changes made in one project will get it out of sync with the other project.
Or just use Schematic Editor / Tools / Assign Footprints You can select a bunch of entries by holding the [Shift] key and then assign a new footprint to all of the selected.
