How the PCB layout updates after some schematic changes? I have added some parts in the schematics but PCB layout does not include this footprint. Is it should be automatically updated as Eagle does?
When in the schematic editor press F8 to update the changes to the PCB

Kicad updates both ways: Left click on “tools” to see the drop down list.
Also Kicad has a large number of actions that can be assigned to hotkeys.
See Preferences / Preferences / Hotkeys in both Schematic and PCB editors. Double click action and assign or change a hotkey as you wish.
It is worth scrolling through the hotkeys to familiarize yourself with some of the functions available.
Thanks a lot for this helpful answers. I must say, that is quite (nice!) surprising how well this community work. I’m very pleased with KiCad features comparing to Eagle (payed!) version.
