Background removal from PDF

So that I can distribute schematics to my customers I export them to PDF format.
However, the background is colored.
I can turn off the background color if I print directly to my own printer.

Is there a way to turn off the background color when exporting to PDF ?

I don’t have background colour on my PDF exports. Maybe a setting of yours? Post a screenshot of your output dialogue window.

Schematic Editor / File / Plot has options to output in Black & white, or to select a separate color scheme for it’s output. Did you miss that, or did you use another function to create your PDF?

Schematic Editor / File / Print also has an option to select a custom color scheme:

Ah yes. Thanks PaulVDH
I didn’t realise that you could use the Plot command to plot
to a number of different formats.

I had been using ‘File/Export’ to export to PDF.

The Plot option allows turning off background colour.
The Export option does not.

BTW, you don’t have to select an alternate color scheme.
Simply make sure ‘Plot Background Color’ is not ticked.
