I have that version: (2016-09-01 BZR 7109, Git 38e7deb)-product, release build
I lost all morning work cause autosave did not work.
Kicad crashed and there was no autosave file like previous versions to recover from.
It is the first time that it happen, maybe that kicad version is more unstable than previous nightly build i used before. I checked my previous projects and there were the autosave file, so previous versions worked in the right way.
i have no complains about Kicad, I wrote that message just to warn developever about this bug. You did a great work.
