Autorouting error

Hi everyone, I’m using kicad 6.0 on MacBook Pro, I’m using the autorouting tool that I downloaded from github, that’s really cool but I can’t set anything because when I launch it, it starts automatically to route, so I can’t modify any options I wanted to modify, I want to change the width of the way and the vie but I can’t because it starts at the moment I click the autorouting tool, someone can help me?

Hello @Alefrank

Sorry, but you will have to communicate with the author of the plug-in. Kicad cannot help with your problem.

Freerouting is a third party project, with some limited integration to KiCad.

Change netclass settings in kicad and set your track widths and via sizes there, autorouter will use that.

The plugin is designed to run freeRouting without any user interaction. If you want to adjust things manually you’d have to do the round-trip manually. But it’s better to treat freeRouting as a pipeline and do your adjustments in KiCad as qu1ck says. Besides if you change them in freeRouting, the settings don’t backpropagate to your PCB layout.
