Automatic wire junctions

I have a problem that I have not seen before.

I am joining of the secondary to the input of a full wave bridge and then running the -ve to the GND line connecting the voltage regulator and the associated capacitors.

All is good joining the output of the transformer to the AC input of the bridge but when I run the -ve from the the bridge across the one of the AC lines KiCAD puts a junction mark to join the -ve to the AC line.

I delete it but I add other components and then there I come back to the bridge here is the junction mark again

There is no “automatic” junction setting that I can find. Help please?

Couple of screenshots could help.

One thing which comes to mind is that if there’s a symbol pin end and you draw a wire over it, the wire is connected to the pin automatically with a junction.

Is your -ve wire crossing the AC line where the AC wire joins the AC pin?

The junction is NOT shown now as I have just deleted it but it cans back…

Could it be that the wire from pin 3 of the bridge is crossing pin 10 of the transformer secondary?

This is your problem @Graham1904.
If you draw a wire over a wire to pin connection, a junction will automatically be placed. You need to move the vertical wire from the -ve. pin slightly to the left so it does not cross the end of the pin 10 of the transformer.

Oh way! So I have blowed it ito a screenshot I can see what you are talking. I should the wire away. Thank you…

Yup, when looked at full size it’s clear . .
