Associate footprint with partial component name

I am using Bourns potentiometers -PTR901-2015K-B503 - Where B indicates a linear taper as opposed to log or anti-log, and 503 indicates a 50K pot. But I also have a 500K pot (B504). I want all these and other values to associate with the same footprint.

How can I achieve that?

Hover the mouse over each symbol in the Eeschema and press E

You will see a footprint field select value then click on the little stack of books. You can set any footprint you want here.
