Area calculation of newly introduced board statistics dialog does not work

Nice, but “area” doesn’t works. I am, for squared board, getting:
Width: 110mm
Heigth: 145mm
Area: -0,002mm^2
If I check “Subtract holes from board area” a get area=0.

Please add any suggestions for improvement to a bug report on the tracker. We lose sight of things reported here on the forum.

Yes, same report in same OS. Until now, related with Ubuntu 16.04.
