Hi all,
I’ve seen Kicad official repos for symbols, footprints and models transition to “Public Archive” on a regular basis (yearly?) in the past.
I’m used to check out those so that I can base my designs on libraries that are updated and that I can contribute back to.
What is the best practice when they transition to archived? Continue to use them (can’t contribute fixes back of course)? get new library repos (please provide pointers to where to find them)?
appreciate any advice you can give.
