Any gotchas in upgrading from 5.x to 6?

I downloaded 6.0 the other day, but the readme still talks about upgrading from 4.x to 5.
Is that going to be updated at some point?
What do I need to know about changing versions on the Mac? (macOS Monterey 12.1, M1 CPU)

It might be worth to wait for 6.0.1 (plan). Use 6.0.1.
