Another Copper Zone confusion question

I’ve used Kicad off and on for a couple of projects and thought I understood thermal reliefs. However, I started a new project and created a couple of SM footprints for some Hirose connectors. They were both created at the same time with the same version of Kicad (9.0.1). When I placed the footprints, created a copper zone (GND) and filled the zone, I see that the thermal reliefs for the two connectors are different. I have no idea how to fix this. The connector with the crisscross thermal reliefs do not want to connect the internal pads to the copper zone.

Anyway, I could sure use some direction as to what I am missing here.
Thanks
Jim

Thermal Relief

Well, I figured it out. When creating one of the two connector footprints I must of ‘fat-fingered’ the setting for the spoke angle. I sure don’t remember messing with that setting but it was set to 45 deg. Anyway, another lesson learned.
Take care
Jim
